Accessibility Statement
Pets2Places is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all visitors. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards across the entire website.
Our commitment
We have designed and built this website to be accessible to people with disabilities. The website uses semantic HTML, provides keyboard navigation throughout, includes descriptive alt text for images, maintains sufficient colour contrast, and supports screen reader software.
What we have implemented
- One main heading (H1) per page with logical heading hierarchy
- Full keyboard navigation — all interactive elements are reachable and operable using the keyboard alone, with visible focus indicators on all buttons, links, and form fields
- Form labels clearly associated with input fields, with required fields marked as required
- Images with descriptive alt text; decorative images marked as such
- Colour contrast meeting WCAG 2.2 AA requirements (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and UI components)
- Alternative text descriptions for any visual content that conveys information
- The EqualWeb accessibility widget, which provides user-controlled accommodations including high contrast mode, text sizing, colour adjustments, and screen reader support
Known limitations
We are not aware of any accessibility barriers on this website.
