Over 10,000 pets transported safely across the UK. We're designing products that pass the crash-testing standards most pet harnesses fail.

Claire Harris, founder of Pets 2 Places Pet Transport Products

Hello, I'm Claire

Pets 2 Places Pet Transport Products is a small business on a big mission, to make travelling with your pet genuinely safe. We're at the early, pre-launch stage, and I'd love you to follow along.

There's no judgement here. Most of us were never told what safe pet travel actually looks like. Come and learn with us.

The Bit Most People Haven't Been Told

In a collision, an unrestrained pet becomes a projectile. A 20kg dog in a 30mph crash is thrown with the force of around 500kg. That's not something a lap, a boot or a loose seatbelt can hold.

Understand why pet travel safety matters.

Why We're Different

Considered Design From Real Experience

Shaped by 12 years of hands-on pet transport. Designed for the pet wearing the harness and the person fitting it.

Crash Tested to the Children's Car Seat Standard

Tested at 30mph forward-facing, the same benchmark used for children's car seats. No shortcuts, no marketing tricks.

Two dogs looking out of a car window

Unrestrained dogs in the front seat create multiple hazards. Without proper individual restraints, they can be thrown during sudden stops or collisions. Front-seat airbags, if not disabled, pose a serious injury risk. This setup can also invalidate your car insurance in the event of an accident.

Three dogs sitting safely in the boot of a car

Without a dog guard, loose dogs in the boot can be thrown forward into the passenger compartment during braking, endangering both the animals and vehicle occupants. Improvised restraints risk tangling and injury.

Sustainable and Vegan

Built from sustainable materials because durability and responsibility matter. Vegan materials throughout, because a product about safety and care shouldn't compromise on either.

A Second Life

When you're finished, donate your product to one of our partner rescue centres so it goes on to help another pet.

The Journey Ahead

Our first product is a harness for dogs between 5 and 15kg. A cat carrier is planned next, and a full range will follow over the coming years.

Joining now means you'll see it all unfold, the testing, the decisions, the honest bits in between.

A Few Things People Often Ask

When will the first product launch?

We're pre-launch. The harness for dogs between 5 and 15kg is in development now, and joining the journey is the best way to be told the moment it's ready.

What does crash tested actually mean?

For us, it means tested to the same 30mph forward-facing standard used for children's car seats. Anything less doesn't earn the words.

Will there be a product for my cat?

Yes. A cat carrier is planned as one of our early products, because so many of the carriers used today simply aren't safe in a crash.
